Participation in the INT-NAM 2023 Conference, Istanbul, Turkey

4th International Naval Architecture and Maritime Symposium – INT-NAM 2023 was held on 11 – 13 October 2023 in Istanbul, Turkey, and it has brought together scientists, researchers, and experts in the field of marine technology and engineering.

Project collaborator Tena Bujas participated at the conference with a paper entitled “Innovative Solutions for Aquaculture: Analysis of AI and Mobile App Advancements for Early Warning and Optimization of Production Processes “.

Mariculture farms field visit, July 2023

Associate Tena Bujas, in July 2023, visited mariculture farmers and farms in the vicinity of Šibenik and on island Brač, in order to promote the project and encourage stakeholders to access the center. After pleasant meetings with farmers and employees of the Ruđer Bošković Institute, insight was gained into the need to develop a mobile application for early warning of marine pollution that will display the values of parameters important for mariculture.

INMARTECH 2023 was held on June 20-22, 2023 in Barcelona, Spain and it has brought together scientists, researchers, and experts in the field of marine technology.

Science Fair ” Priroda i društvo 23″ INTEL-MARIC presentation

As a part of the “Priroda i društvo 23” Science Fair, which takes place from April 24 to 29, 2023 at Technology museum Nikola Tesla Zagreb, associate Manuela Vukić presented the INTEL-MARIC project through an informative poster and an interactive video screening. The presentation was held on April 28 from 1 p.m., and was appropriate for all age groups from preschool to highschool students, as well as the general public. The interactive video presentation introduced visitors to the process of fish farming, mariculture in the Republic of Croatia, and current challenges and alternative solutions for them.

58th Croatian and 18th International Symposium on Agriculture – SA2023  was held on February 11 – 17 2023 in Dubrovnik, Croatia and it has brought together scientists, researchers, and experts in the field of agriculture and renewable energy sources.
